Sales Office of the Residential Complex “Sydney City”
Year: 2020
Location: Moscow
Description:
The organization of a two-story space allows for the most effective and impressive presentations of the project, as well as negotiations with potential buyers. The applied solutions make it possible to host multiple meetings simultaneously. The “Business” client area is equipped with five spacious meeting rooms, while the “Premium” client area includes two additional meeting rooms furnished with custom-made furniture. The use of acoustically absorbing natural materials in the meeting zones creates a comfortable audiovisual environment, enabling discussions in a relaxed atmosphere.
One of the key elements of the space is the model of the residential complex, which occupies a central place in the office. A bowl-shaped stand and a mirrored hemisphere composed of tubular lights of varying lengths create the effect of a three-dimensional holographic globe. Special attention was given to its positioning, scale, and full visibility, making it very convenient to work with. Nearby, a lounge area and a large media screen are set up for presentations.
Between the interior spaces and the glass facade, a winter garden with live plants enhances the sense of seclusion and highlights the biophilic nature of the residential complex’s design. The entrance area, with a reception desk set within a rounded niche, allows visitors to gradually immerse themselves in the showroom environment.
The core design concept is inspired by the mesmerizing nature of Australia’s coastline and the unique historical heritage of Sydney. These influences are reflected in the use of natural materials such as wood, granite, and pebbles, as well as in the incorporation of smooth, organic forms.
The textured white reception desk, accented with brass and gold, evokes the image of a sandy shoreline bathed in the light of the setting sun. The theme of the ocean meeting the land is expressed through the fluid, curved lines of the interior. Coastal stones, masterfully polished by the surf, take the form of rounded armchairs, while breakwaters—resilient against the force of the elements—are transformed into sofas and tabletops in the lounge areas.
The combination of marble, granite, and sandstone textures in the finishes creates the sensation of walking along cliffs, staircases carved into the rocks, and sidewalks lining the streets of old Sydney. The interplay of rough and polished stone textures introduces a natural contrast, characteristic of coastal landscapes.
